How to Make Your Dimples Deeper Using Makeup

Dimples have been coveted by non-dimple-wearers for years. There is a charm to dimpled cheeks that simply can’t be fabricated by anything else. Some people have a dimple on only one cheek, while others are lucky enough to have two dimpled cheeks.

Tip: Try Contouring

Contouring is one way to really enhance your natural dimples and make them deeper. Use an eyeshadow brush (preferable one that is shaped like a pencil) and an eyeshadow that’s a natural shade just a tad deeper than your skin tone. Dab it into your dimples and blend it in to the surrounding skin.

Tip: Avoid Applying Blush on Dimples

When you apply your blush (and/or highlighter), make sure you are applying it above your dimples, not in them. The last thing you want is concentrated blush in the center of your dimples. While that may draw attention to them, it won’t be the kind you want.

Tip: Create Dimples with a Pencil

Even if you weren’t born with a dimple or two, you can create the appearance of one. Simply use a brown eyeliner or brow pencil and draw a light arc where a dimple would normally be, about an inch from the ends of your mouth. Then blend it in with a brush, and voila!
